Like every other business in the Tourist Industry, we have been severely impacted by the health pandemic and the subsequent measures taken by the various European Governments, including the Spanish Government. As was the case last year, we started January with the villa 95% booked for the full year. We worked hard over the winter to add more leisure facilities, including two mini-golf lanes, for the benefit of our guests.
Since the crisis, we have had to review our situation and take hard decisions. All bookings which were taken with us, either through a partner (AirBnB, HomeAway, or other) or directly, and which were not possible to take place because the borders were closed either in Spain or in the guests' country of origin, or because flights were grounded, we agreed to refund at 100%, no question asked. For those who have booked later in the year, we will wait to see the situation. If the borders are still closed and the flights are grounded, we will continue to refund 100%. If the borders are re-opened and flights operate, we will review the case with each guest group, one by one, to find the best solution.
We will be hit very hard financially by this crisis. We have taken the long view, which is to help our guests first. We hope that when this is over, our past and future guests will remember how, during very uncertain times, we have always put our guests well-being - health and finance - before ours. We hope that when the time comes, you will help us in return, by booking your next holiday directly with us at Villa Panorama. We are grateful for your visit to this website, and we hope to serve you again very soon.
Thank you for your support. We are looking forward to meeting you all at Villa Panorama in the next few months / years.
Eric.
